½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup chocolate chips
10–12 Oreo cookies, coarsely crushed
Vanilla ice cream, for topping (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a small cast iron skillet.
In a bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
Add egg and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips and crushed Oreo cookies.
Press dough evenly into the skillet.
Bake for 18–22 minutes, until edges are golden and center is slightly soft.
Let cool for 5 minutes, then top with vanilla ice cream and serve warm.
