Easy Little Debbie Christmas Cake Balls: An Incredible 7-Step Recipe

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (or any favorite flavor)
  • 1 cup of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 ½ cups of chocolate chips (milk or dark chocolate)
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil (for coating)
  • Sprinkles or crushed candy canes (for decoration, optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by opening the box of Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes. Place the cakes in a large mixing bowl and crumble them into fine pieces using your hands or a fork.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese to the crumbled cake. Mix until well combined. The mixture should be moist and easy to handle.
  3. Using your hands, scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place each ball on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Once all the balls are formed, place the baking sheet in the refrigerator. Chill for at least one hour to allow them to firm up.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Heat in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring in between until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  6. Remove the chilled cake balls from the refrigerator. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Use a fork to lift the ball out, allowing any excess chocolate to drip off.
  7. Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle with your choice of decorations, such as sprinkles or crushed candy canes.

Notes

  • Chill the cake balls for at least one hour for best results.
  • Use any flavor of Little Debbie cakes you prefer.
