This recipe features tender, juicy garlic butter chicken bites served with spicy Cajun alfredo twisted pasta. It’s a flavorful and easy-to-prepare dish perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 oz twisted pasta (like fusilli or rotini)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 12 tablespoons Cajun seasoning (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, season the chicken pieces with 1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the twisted pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 4 tablespoons of butter. When the butter is bubbling, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
  • Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  • Once the chicken is fully cooked, add the heavy cream to the skillet, along with the grated Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, paprika, and an additional 1-2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning. Stir until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  • Add the cooked twisted pasta to the skillet. Toss gently to coat everything evenly with the creamy sauce and chicken.
  • Taste the dish and adjust the seasoning as necessary. You can add more Cajun seasoning for an extra kick.
  • Once everything is well mixed and heated through, remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

  • Variations include vegetarian options, creamy tomato alfredo, seafood, different heat levels, and extra cheese.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
  • The dish can be frozen for up to 2 months.
