Ingredients

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 cup breadcrumbs
½ cup sweet chili sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust to taste)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Green onions, for garnish
Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
Set Up Breading Station: In one bowl, place the flour. In a second bowl, whisk the eggs. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
Bread the Chicken: Dip each piece of chicken first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs. Ensure each piece is well coated.
Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
Cook the Chicken: Add the breaded chicken pieces to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, combine the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, Sriracha, garlic, and ginger. Mix well.
Add Sauce to Chicken: Once the chicken is cooked, pour the sauce over the chicken in the skillet. Stir to coat evenly.
Simmer: Allow the chicken and sauce to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, ensuring everything is heated through.
Garnish: Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Plate and Serve: Transfer the Firecracker Chicken to a serving dish and enjoy!
