Firecracker Chicken: An Amazing Ultimate Recipe for 5-Star Flavor

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup bell peppers (sliced)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup green onions (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce (adjust for heat preference)
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, sriracha, rice vinegar, and grated ginger. Add chicken and let it marinate for about 10–15 minutes.
  3. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the marinated chicken to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently until the chicken is cooked through and slightly caramelized.
  5. Add sliced bell peppers, broccoli florets, and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 5 minutes until the veggies are tender but still crisp.
  6. Pour any remaining marinade into the skillet, stirring to combine with the chicken and vegetables. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  7. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
  8. Transfer the Firecracker Chicken to a serving platter or bowl.

Notes

  • Adjust the sriracha sauce for your preferred spice level.
  • Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
