Creamy Chocolate Caramel Toffee Crunch Cake is a delightful 7-layer dessert that combines rich chocolate, smooth caramel, and crunchy toffee.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup toffee bits
  • ½ cup heavy cream (for frosting)
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for frosting)
  • Optional: additional toffee bits for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 8-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well blended.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
  5. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans.
  6. Place the pans in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and allow the cakes to cool in their pans for 10 minutes. Then transfer them to wire racks to cool completely.
  8. In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream and semi-sweet chocolate chips over low heat. Stir until melted and smooth. Allow to cool slightly.
  9. Once the cake layers are completely cool, place one layer on a serving plate. Spread a layer of caramel sauce, followed by a sprinkle of toffee bits.
  10. Add the second cake layer and repeat the process. Top with the third layer.
  11. Spread the chocolate frosting over the top and sides of the cake. Garnish with additional toffee bits for an extra crunch.

  • This cake can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of toffee bits according to your preference.
