Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces spaghetti
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon dried Italian herbs
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 cup cooked ground beef or sausage (optional)
Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large pot, boil salted water and cook the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, half of the mozzarella cheese, half of the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
In a large mixing bowl, add the cooked spaghetti and the cheese mixture. If using, incorporate the cooked ground beef or sausage. Stir until the spaghetti is evenly coated.
Pour the spaghetti mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread it out evenly.
Pour the tomato sauce over the top of the spaghetti mixture, spreading it evenly.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the tomato sauce.
Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
