1 pound ground beef
1 cup cheddar cheese, cubed
1/2 small onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 package pizza dough or crescent roll dough
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a skillet, cook ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease and stir in garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Let cool slightly.
Roll out the dough and cut into 4–6 equal rounds. Flatten into circles.
Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture onto each dough circle. Press a cube of cheddar into the center.
Fold dough around the filling and pinch edges to seal. Place seam-side down on the baking tray.
Brush tops with egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds if using.
Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and puffed. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
