Ingredients
Scale
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
Sprinkle in the paprika, cumin, and oregano, stirring well to combine.
Add the chicken broth to the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
Once the broth is simmering, pour in the heavy cream and stir until the mixture is smooth.
Place the cooked chicken breasts back into the skillet, covering them with the creamy sauce.
Lower the heat and let everything simmer for about 5-10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
Sprinkle chopped parsley over the chicken before serving for a fresh touch.
