Sausage Alfredo Ravioli Lasagna is a delicious layered dish combining Italian sausage, cheese ravioli, and creamy Alfredo sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage (mild or spicy, based on preference)
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 24 oz cheese ravioli (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil (chopped, optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until browned. Break it into crumbles while cooking. Drain excess fat.
  3. In the same skillet, add the Alfredo sauce to the cooked sausage and stir until combined. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the sausage and Alfredo mixture on the bottom.
  5. Place half of the cheese ravioli on top of the sauce layer, spreading them evenly.
  6. Spoon half of the ricotta cheese over the ravioli, followed by a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  7. Add another layer of the sausage and Alfredo sauce, followed by the remaining ravioli, more ricotta, and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Top with the last of the sausage and Alfredo sauce, then sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  9. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Allow the lasagna to cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing into portions.
