Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 cup broccoli florets
1/2 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup sliced bell peppers (any color)
2 green onions, chopped
Cooked rice (for serving)
Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks (about 5-7 minutes).
Add the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the soy sauce, brown sugar, and rice vinegar to the skillet. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Stir in the broccoli, shredded carrots, and bell peppers. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still vibrant.
Add the chopped green onions to the skillet and toss everything together.
Prepare bowls with cooked rice as the base. Top the rice with the beef and vegetable mixture.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top for added flavor and presentation.
