- 12 mozzarella cheese sticks
- 1 cup Hot Cheetos, crushed
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Oil for frying
- Freeze the mozzarella sticks for about 30 minutes.
- Crush the Hot Cheetos in a ziplock bag until fine.
- Prepare the breading stations:
- In one bowl, add the all-purpose flour.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together.
- In a third bowl, mix the crushed Hot Cheetos with garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
- Bread the cheese sticks: Coat each stick in flour, dip in the egg mixture, then roll in Hot Cheeto crumbs.
- Heat about 2 inches of oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
