Festive Christmas Cranberry Poke Cake Delight: An Amazing Ultimate Recipe

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can (15 oz) whole cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Fresh cranberries and mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, eggs, and water. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for about 30 minutes.
  5. After cooling, use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the top of the cake.
  6. In a small saucepan, heat the cranberry sauce over low heat until warm. Pour the warm cranberry sauce evenly over the poked holes in the cake.
  7. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  8. Spread the whipped cream mixture evenly over the top of the cake.
  9. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the cake to set.
  10. Before serving, garnish with fresh cranberries and mint leaves if desired for a festive touch.
