Ingredients
Scale
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
2 large eggs (beaten)
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
Vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Pat them dry with paper towels.
Set up breading stations: In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. In another bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs.
Coat the chicken: Dredge each piece of chicken in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess. Next, dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any surplus to drip off. Finally, coat the chicken in panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
Heat oil: In a large skillet, heat about ½ inch of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Fry the chicken: Carefully add the breaded chicken pieces to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Make the Bang Bang sauce: In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice until smooth and well combined.
Toss chicken in sauce: In a large bowl, add the crispy chicken and pour the Bang Bang sauce over it. Toss gently to coat each piece evenly.
Garnish: If desired, garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds for added flavor and presentation.
Notes
This dish is perfect for parties or as a delicious dinner option.
Adjust the spiciness of the sauce by adding more or less sriracha.
