1 (20 oz) can of crushed pineapple, drained
1 (8 oz) container of Cool Whip
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1 cup shredded coconut (optional)
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
Instructions
Open the can of crushed pineapple and drain it thoroughly. Squeeze out as much liquid as possible to prevent the fluff from becoming watery.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained pineapple and sour cream. Stir until well blended.
Gradually add granulated sugar to the pineapple mixture. Adjust the amount based on your sweetness preference.
Gently fold in the Cool Whip until fully combined. Be careful not to deflate the mixture; you want to keep it fluffy!
Add the miniature marshmallows and chopped nuts (if using) to the mixture. Stir until evenly distributed.
If you’re using shredded coconut, fold it into the mixture at this stage.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the fluff to a serving dish. Refrigerate for at least one hour to allow the flavors to meld and the fluff to set.
Once chilled, give the fluff a gentle stir before serving. You can garnish with additional coconut or nuts if desired.
