Cinnamon Roll French Toast Roll-Ups are a delightful breakfast treat filled with cinnamon sugar and creamy filling.

Ingredients

  • Sandwich Bread Slices: 8 slices
  • Cream Cheese: 4 ounces, softened
  • Light Brown Sugar: 1/4 cup
  • Ground Cinnamon: 1 tablespoon
  • Eggs: 2 large
  • Whole Milk: 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon
  • Powdered Sugar: 2 tablespoons
  • Butter: 2 tablespoons
  • Maple Syrup: Optional

Instructions

  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt a bit of butter to coat.
  2. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in one bowl, and whisk eggs, milk, and vanilla in another.
  3. Flatten bread slices with a rolling pin and trim off crusts.
  4. Spread cream cheese, sprinkle cinnamon sugar, and roll tightly.
  5. Dip rolls into egg mixture, then fry in the skillet until all sides are golden brown.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle glaze if desired.
  7. Serve warm with optional maple syrup or berries.
