Ingredients
Scale
12 oz bowtie pasta
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and let them rest before slicing into bite-sized pieces.
Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add the shredded mozzarella cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
Add the cooked bowtie pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta and chicken are well coated in the sauce.
Check for seasoning and add salt and pepper as needed.
Remove from heat and serve immediately, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
