Irresistible Avocado Deviled Eggs You Need at Your Next Party

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs (hard-boiled)
  • 1 ripe avocado (mashed)
  • 2 tbsp lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp cilantro (chopped, optional)

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, let them cook for 9-12 minutes for perfectly hard-boiled eggs.
  2. After boiling, transfer the eggs to an ice bath immediately. This stops the cooking process and makes peeling easier. Let them sit for about 5 minutes.
  3. Gently tap and roll the eggs on a hard surface to crack the shell, then peel under running water for easy removal.
  4. Cut each egg in half lengthwise. Scoop out the yolks into a mixing bowl, leaving the whites intact. Set the whites aside.
  5. Add the ripe avocado and lime juice to the egg yolks. Mash together until creamy and smooth, with no lumps for a delightful texture.
  6. Stir in salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed for balanced flavor.
  7. Using a spoon or piping bag, fill each egg white generously with the creamy avocado mixture, creating a beautiful presentation.
  8. Sprinkle chopped cilantro or extra red pepper flakes on top for an eye-catching finish and burst of flavor.
